David Anderson - Bio

David was born and raised in Meridianville, AL. He has been married to his best friend and high school sweetheart, Morgan since 2021. They are proud parents to two boys, Ty and Bodie. Morgan is a stay-at-home mother and actively involved in serving students and the church. David graduated from UAH in 2020 where he played 5 years of basketball and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has since worked in Government & Commercial Construction Project Management. David grew up in a Christian home with godly parents who pointed him to Jesus, but he never fully surrendered his life to Christ until 2024. Since then, Jesus has completely changed his life. 

David & Morgan began serving students as adult leaders starting in 2021 in Hazel Green, AL. In 2025, David began to wrestle with God’s direction for his life, and has since discerned that God has called him to vocational ministry. He began serving as the Interim Student Pastor in September 2025 and is currently serving full time as Student & Discipleship Pastor. David’s purpose in ministry is to faithfully serve the Lord for His glory and the benefit of others. The truth of the Gospel fuels David’s purpose to help others discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus. He is committed to disciple-making, helping students grow in spiritual maturity, and serving the local church. His favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, ”I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
